Café Noir

Premium design system for cafés, bookshops and living venues — any place that is more than the sum of its rooms. The homepage is a comic plate: nine framed black-and-white panels, each one a full page of the site, each one alive on its own prime-number clock. The life is a stamp — a hand-made onomatopoeia (FSSSH.., Zzz…, DRRRING!!) that snaps onto the photo like a rubber stamp, holds two seconds, vanishes. No two panels ever hit together; most of the plate rests at any instant. Hover leans a panel in, click zooms it into the page. A screenshot shows a grid of photos; it cannot show that the house is inhabited.
