Arc Lounge Chair
01

Seating

Arc Lounge Chair

An organic shell upholstered in dusty teal bouclé, resting on a solid oak cross base. Designed for long evenings and unrushed mornings.

Lune Floor Lamp
02

Lighting

Lune Floor Lamp

A slender matte black stem crowned with a wide cone shade. Casts a calm, diffused light — present without demanding attention.

Shore Sofa
03

Seating

Shore Sofa

Three generous seats in dusty teal linen, carried on tapered oak legs. A sofa that settles a room without taking it over.

Grain Dining Table
04

Tables

Grain Dining Table

An oval walnut top with visible grain, raised on four tapered legs. Shaped for conversation — wide enough to gather, intimate enough to connect.

Forme Side Table
05

Tables

Forme Side Table

A sculptural teal ceramic form — pedestal base, organic top — that reads as object as much as table. Handcast in small batches.

Dome Pendant
06

Lighting

Dome Pendant

A large woven rattan dome, warm honey in tone, that pools light softly beneath it. Hand-woven by a single atelier in western Norway.

Our philosophy

How we approach making.

01

Considered Design

Every dimension is deliberate. We spend months with a single form before it reaches production — refining proportions, testing materials, questioning every detail until nothing remains to remove.

02

Slow Craft

We work with a small network of ateliers across Scandinavia. No automation in upholstery, no shortcuts in joinery. Each piece is built by hands that understand the material they're working with.

Enduring Form

We do not design for trends. A Pale Form piece should feel as right in twenty years as it does today — in a different home, passed to a different generation, accumulating meaning over time.

The studio

Built in Oslo,
felt everywhere.

Pale Form was founded in 2011 in a converted workshop near Grünerløkka. What began as a small series of ceramic objects grew into a full furniture practice — one defined by restraint, material honesty, and a deep respect for the domestic interior. We believe that the objects we live with shape how we live.
